Cannons are exploding with LOVE!

Our family first learned about Reece's Rainbow last fall, and our hearts are broken for these dear sweet babies and young children waiting for forever families, but in danger of living their entire lives in an institution just because they were born with an extra chromosome, or a unique set of physical or mental challenges....  My kids have been praying for the kids on Reece's Rainbow, and for the families who are adopting kids.  Not everyone is in a position to adopt, but everyone can give up a prayer or a word of encouragement, a latte or new pair of shoes--and send the funds to these precious ones.  Because RR has become a household word to us, since finding out that our dear friends are going to adopt little Dariya...she is now a serious celebrity in our home, one that we are soooooo super-excited that we get to actually meet and hug!

But the life she and so many other kiddos have been living is SO far from what we who live here in the middle of this wealthy county in the middle of this wealthy country, would envision for anyone.

These wonderful friends of ours, together with this incredible organization (just wander around on their website or blog for a bit...you'll be changed), are moving mountains so that the words home and family are not just something they hear about, wonder about, have no concept of...but something they know by heart.

Please visit the Cannon family blog IPAD (and more!) GIVEAWAY! this week--today, and share what you can--forgo something you know you won't even miss in a week or a month, and you won't miss an opportunity to give love and life and hope and a whole family to this darling little girl...
